Wooden and steel tables and a modular shelving system designed by the duo and handcrafted by local Bavarian artisans sit alongside vintage chairs, whilst the calm green and grey walls add a decorative element to the simple, polished coffee machines and modern lighting pendants.

One floor up the décor swiftly changes to walls in a soft green fabric with display niches dedicated to women’s leather goods and footwear. Furniture is completed by green velvet seats and by crystal and polished steel tables.

With materials such as raw steel, resin, raw concrete, and glass, accented by custom furniture and light fixtures, the aesthetic is a sort of industrial chic. Artist Mike Jasorka provides his custom 50’s style comic book artwork throughout the coffee bar area contributing a sense of whimsy to the clean lines of the lobby.

Truth Coffee by Haldane Martin, Cape Town – South Africa

Raw steel, timber, leather, brass and copper finishes were central to the interior design and complimented the building’s worn aesthetic. Martin designed all of the furniture for the café, which includes high-backed leather banquettes, ornate steel tables and smaller cog-shaped tables.

Nudie Pop-Up Shop in Deli, Seattle

Nudie recently did a pop-up shop in Seattle, Washington at Deli Seattle. Inside the shop, was the theme “Meat Locker.” The interior was kept minimal, just like an actual meat locker. There were chains, steel tables, and concrete floor. There were also some unique detail that was placed on the floor, a painting of dripping blood going down a drain.
