The chosen aesthetic of the Woolrich shop is predominantly defined by light colours and simple materials, such as wood, glass and metal. Furnishings comprise of wooden and steel shelves, while the building’s concrete pillars are encased in transparent glass.

The Pennsylvania-based company opened a new two-floor, vintage-inspired store on Wooster Street and elected to design it as a “contemporary retrospective of the company’s 184-year history,” highlighted by the presence of wool shearing tools, swatch cards, catalogues and other historic items arranged around the space.

Heritage brand Woolrich have opened their first U.S. shop-in-shop at Brooklyn’s Smith + Butler, a store with a very compatible range of goods. The new retail unit measures 250 sq.ft. [23 sqm.] and carries the Woolrich collection exclusively in a curated environment, featuring a range of vintage home furnishings and antiques that have been specially built and sourced.
