In partnership with US Haircare brand Aveda, award winning hair stylists, Russell & Robert Eaton have recently opened this flagship Aveda Lifestyle Salon & Spa in Leeds, UK. Reis Design were briefed to create an urban centre of excellence for hair styling, Ayurvedic beauty therapies and Aveda retail products.

Aveda’s commitment to environmental leadership and sustainable development had a strong influence upon the design process. The designers have striven to integrate reclaimed and sustainable materials throughout the project and the scheme takes a low impact strategy in the treatment of this Victorian property in Leeds City centre. The design makes clever use of specialist lighting to define ‘energy’ & ‘relaxation’ areas for the differing salon & spa functions, creating a journey of discovery through the space.
