Neil Barrett’s diffusion line titled “Black Barrett” just recently added its latest retail presence with a new location in Hong Kong’s Central District. The choice of a dark and subdued interior ultimately places a strong emphasis on the product with contrast contributed by the the use of concrete flooring and wooden paneling. With the 2010 spring/summer collection taking on the concept of “psychedelic voodoo”, the use of 1970s African culture and voodoo imagery create some interesting aesthetics. Two color groups include a bright blood-red with orange and pink as well as a blue and neon green palette.
