Lenny Guerrier knows a thing or two about fashion and style. Starting out promoting it at a press office, he moved on to retail by way of an advertising agency with multidisciplinary ambitions and various stints at leading emporiums in Paris. Guerrier’s recently opened concept store Coïncidence could therefor be considered as a mischievous contradiction, but strictly by its name only. The store occupies two floors of a building in the heart of the Marais district and features a contemporary, whitewashed interior that incorporates many of its historic elements.
Coïncidence’s diverse men’s and women’s offerings very much reflect Guerrier’s eclectic taste level, and are presented in a welcoming, living room atmosphere. The ground floor is predominantly reserved for beautiful objects and accessories, in addition to stationery, tableware and candles. The basement section is where select apparel and furniture pieces are presented. Coïncidence’s fashion brand list currently includes Tim Hamilton, Études, Laurence Airline, Rick Owens and Ann-Sofie Back.
