Tsuruichi Yakiniku is a popular Japanese-style barbecue restaurant, located in the eastern part of Osaka, Japan, the crane bridge area, famous for its unique local beef barbecue. There is a Korean living in Japan mixed with local Japanese area, and therefore a unique multicultural. “Crane one” Japanese interpretation of the words, is “the first and best in bridge crane area ” means, but is also the first Yakiniku restaurant opened in nearly hundred years ago at crane bridge area.

The concept of design to restore the image of the crowded streets of Osaka, Japan, the crane bridge construction area, two entrances of the restaurant arrangements “gable” (Chinese architectural vocabulary) on the top of the hill into the restaurant greets triangle, we deliberately suppressed the eaves, with the intention to express a strong relationship triangle roof Japanese architecture and the mountains. Japanese building, mountains, if the inlet wall, called “wife Fit”; contrary, if it is smooth from the eaves into the room in this way is called “flat-in.”

Eaves height of 2.2 meters, even as the housing, the height is very low. As a public dining room for guests so low eaves and out through the private dining, the design of this highly also complaint from our customer who is the owner of restaurant: we have no common sense at all, this height can reach out and touch the roof up. Eaves design so short, intended to weaken the wall, emphasizing scattered triangle under the roof, the walls disappear in the eaves of the shadows, highlights the little mountain building in the urban jungle.
