Nothing can stop Hermès’ love of sport, no matter how harsh the winter may be. It is Design Systems Ltd’s design concept for this season’s Hermès window display in the brand’s South China boutiques. It is also a continuation of the yearly theme “A Sporting Life”.

All decorations and fixtures are custom-designed for this window display project. Delicately hand-made little Eskimos go ice fishing regardless of coldness, for their much desired Hermès treasures glowing in the ice blocks of different forms. While one can find adorable Hermès items beneath the ice surface, the audience also receives a warm blessing underlying this icy window display: “Hope you get what you want in the New Year.”

This Winter window design has been voted “The Best Window Display of the Year” from among the world luxury brands’ windows at mall Mixc, Shenzhen. Apart from Shenzhen, it can also be seen in other South China cities including Guangzhou, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Suzhou, Wuhan, Ningbo and Kunming. In store on display now until end of February 2014.
