New outdoor collection presented by Federica Capitani during the Salone del Mobile in Milan, 2014. Following the success of the playful TRAME collection, ADESSO is Capitani’s second collection with Kenneth Cobonpue, the well-known company based in Cebu in the Philipines that uses techniques based on traditional handicrafts to produce contemporary designs. To create the ADESSO collection, London-based designer Capitani combines lightweight and minimal lines with casual comfort to suit contemporary outdoor living.

Two free-form intersecting rings create the minimum structure to accommodate the hand-crafted weaving. The spacial arrangement of the rings provides the necessary tension to host the fields of knotted flowers that grow from one ring to another. The armchairs are paired with an ottoman and a side table: the collection offers a dining arrangement with chairs and table which will soon be joined by bar stools and sun loungers.

All items come in a selection of fresh and vibrant colours, as well as more classical tones. The materials are all suitable for the outdoors: the framework is built from aluminium profile; the thin, light webbing is made of polyethylene.
