For the first time Alcantara has been present at Proposte: the Upholstery Textiles and Drapery Manufacturers Show (at Villa Erba Exhibition Center from 7th till 9th May) with a new collection of materials expressly made for the Interior sector.

The expo has been the best opportunity for presenting the world premiere of “Metamorphosis”, a collection that reveals Alcantara’s innate versatility, its ability to interpret different moods and styles, a crossover nature that makes it a protagonist in many application fields. Besides presenting countless nuances and refined textures, Alcantara is able to create unique, distinctive collections thanks to the artistic skill and know-how of its style department: a genuine creative workshop that interprets the needs of its partners and also offers tailor-made solutions.

For Proposte, Alcantara designed a space w here the articles of the collection, in a variety of colours with a predominance of anthracite gray and acid yellow , were used for a refined, contemporary home decor. Alcantara, with its natural eclecticism and innovative and ever-evolving spirit, interpreted the entrance, dining area, living room, and also the home office and verandah: a genuine “Metamorphosis” of colours and textures that surprised the public in Cernobbio.
