We are glad to announce that the project “Discover the unexpected” for our client Philips Lighting was rewarded as winner of the Iconic Awards 2014! In February this year we presented the new Philips Lighting concept at the EuroShop – the worlds leading retail trade fair in Düsseldorf, Germany. Philips’ LED technology is revolutionizing the lighting sector in an ever progressing way, creating new possibilities on all levels: color, intensity, design, efficiency, maintenance and so on. It is an exciting discovery of a new era in lighting.

For this project we found inspiration in a painting of the famous Dutch artist and architect named Theo van Doesburg (1883-1931), ‘Maison d’artiste’. It expresses a search for new ways and boundaries that reflects Philips’ pioneer spirit. And the painting also seems to be a spatial adventure – which is what we set out to design. This is an architecture that tells a multifaceted story. Where you can discover and experience unexpected angles and insights into Philips LED technology.
