Twinings were ardent about creating a workplace that would re-engage and re-energise the staff; to this end they asked Office Principles to design an office that was vibrant and lively. We wanted the design to match their brand values and the refreshing taste of their brew, so we utilised a range of different colourful carpets and fabrics throughout the design. We also incorporated a modern and sleek tea bar right at the heart of the office to really show off the brand spirit.

The new office is designed to cater to communication and collaboration, as their old design made it difficult for staff to engage with one another. We introduced different working areas and removed the allocated desking system to really open up the office, this enabled the workforce to be more agile and allowed staff to sit next to the right teams at all times. We empowered the staff with a flexible working environment that included areas with hi-back sofas, small meeting pods, bar height tables and a partitioned tea and meet area. This helped to boost engagement within the office and really push business productivity.
