Wings lighting collection by Haim Evgi

January 29th, 2016 by retail design blog

‘Wings’, by Israeli designer Haim Evgi, is a collection of floor, table, and pendant style lights. As the name suggests, the designs are derived from various types of bird wings, albeit abstractly and minimally. A thin iron fixture supports the lamp — regardless of style — giving the impression of a singular form gliding through the air. The ‘wings’ are made of solid oak, and hide a single bulb within. The body is made of iron pipe, and has a powder-coat finish.
