For the design and building of Clarks’ exhibition stand at Pitti Uomo in Firenze, Italy we had two keywords: craftsmanship and simplicity. We used the sterile white canvas walls as our starting point and introduced warm, premium materials to contrast them. We opted for oak planks to present the footwear on. The same wood was used to assemble the table and bar and was subtly incorporated in the premises’ roof structure, unifying all the elements of the stand.
We placed glass in front of the existing brick wall to integrate its authenticity into the composition while leaving it undamaged. The result is a stand that delivers homelike cosiness and embraces the contemporary loft style – plants included. Besides being a successful kick-off for the brand’s 2016 campaign, this stunning exhibition space gave Clarks the perfect opportunity to highlight its exciting new focus product: Trigenic Flex.
