CannonDesign has developed the new offices of global insurance brokerage Lockton located in Chicago, Illinois. The design of this business-to-business insurer’s regional office has a refinement that conveys the company’s professionalism and stability, while promoting a more progressive workplace. The new stair leads up from reception into a lively café/bar area, which provides a range of settings from intimate lounge to open gathering space to a training area that can be closed off with moveable walls. Patterns in the glass, wall and floor covering evoke the speed and energy of their staff.
