Unibox as a company is constantly growing and with it our brand has been evolving. This is partly down to the clients we work with, but it is mostly a result of the way we work.
March 2015 saw the launch of ‘Unibox Retail’ and this was the beginning of a refocusing for the organisation. We wanted to rationalise why we are experts in certain markets, enabling us to provide more of a relevant service.
The rationalisation was a lengthy process which involved a lot of research. The results from this research allowed us to develop our offerings for retailers and design agencies. One year later, results have shown that ‘Unibox Retail’ has been a huge success. The launch led to us working with some of the UK’s largest brands, design agencies, retailers.
We then instigated a process of applying this throughout the whole business, taking the refocused Unibox into the other markets that we have specialised in for over 25 years. For such a large scale brand exploration we worked with one of the UK’s leading B2B marketing agencies – Marketecture. We collaborated to find out what exactly Unibox meant to our staff, our customers, prospects and industry experts.
With this research, we would know exactly where Unibox was as a brand, and what we needed to do, to elevate us within the different industries we work in. After almost a year of in-depth research, development and design work, we are finally ready for the new Unibox to be unveiled, and we’re very excited to see what everyone thinks.
Our new company logo represents one of our core values; Simplicity. We have aimed for this message to transcend throughout our entire business. In addition to the new logo is the introduction to our new submark which offers an alternative to the full logo, perfect when only subtle branding is called for. The submark itself takes a hexagonal form, which is derived from a 3 dimensional box; this represents the several facets to our business.
Everything within the company will now take on the new branding, from brochures and datasheets to business cards and invoices, all with the new style look and feel. However the biggest and most exciting update of all is our new Unibox website!
For the very first time, the new site we have created brings everything we do as an organisation together in one simplistic yet visually stunning website. All the research and identity work has resulted in a new company mission statement and set of values, that will help guide the company in the coming years. Our new mission statement details exactly as a company what we aim to achieve:
“Beautifully engineered products designed to get results”
The values:
Ingenuity
Our collaborative approach allows ingenuity to be shared delivering true innovation
Dedication
We are passionate about success personally taking ownership of our performance
Honesty
Dictated by our experience and vision we provide clients and colleagues with responsible advice
We officially launched the new brand and website on the 1st March, but our first main outing for this will be at the Retail Design Expo on the 9th-10th March, so come along and see us at stand G31. We’re incredibly proud of the research process and of the work we have done to get us to this stage, and we’re very excited for the next phase of Unibox to begin.
