followfish is not a brand. followfish is a movement for transparency, sustainability and true taste. Specifically, followfish stands for top-quality, sustainably caught or farmed fish products. The followfish attitude is not just reflected in the products, it is also consistently implemented in the offices and put into practice by the staff. The building itself, which accommodates the around 400 sqm company headquarters, has been certified by the DGNB (German Sustainable Building Council). In addition to functional office spaces, the principle of sustainability and being at one with nature played the key role during planning.

The materials were carefully selected. The tables are made from solid wood, the floor is made from natural rubber, and the shelves from maritime pine panels held in place using lashing straps. Waxed metal on the walls creating a deliberate contrast. The large overseas shipping container is the highlight of the office. Its many experiences at sea are now joined by the spectacular transport to the followfish territory: during the construction phase, the container was lifted into the building by crane and suspended from the ceiling. It was put in its final place only once the floor was finished. The inside of the container is now a meeting room. Inside, you only find lovingly selected materials: coconut on the walls and round lamps made from recycled corrugated cardboard.

The open overall concept shows clearly who the people are that work here. A young and dynamic company with a great goal: a world in which resources are preserved, not wasted, and where people do business in an integrative way and with an eye on the long term. A world in which we live off what we produce and not by exploiting our resources.
