Kings Mountain American Malt whisky is the product of a collaboration between Heritage Brewing Co. and Catoctin Creek Distilling Co. Heritage Brewing Co. brewed a batch of their Kings Mountain Scotch Ale which was then distilled by Catoctin Creek Distilling Co. and aged for 14 months in a charred oak barrel.

Only 344 bottles of this truly unique whisky were created. Pig Iron used a blend of the two companies brands on the labels which are highlighted with embossed foil details and with illustrations done in a woodcut style. The custom cedar boxes were fire branded with the bottle art.
