Doris de V is a brand specialized in handmade leather goods. This is its first store, so the investors want us to create a strong impression of space to attract customers. We were inspired from the atmosphere and the space of an Oscar-winning movie: Revenant. We want to exhibit forests and wooden houses in this area and use colors that can bring out the feeling of a foggy early morning in the woods. In that way, customers would feel like they are weaving from cluster to cluster in a forest get to different product areas.
For the material system, we decided to use natural wash furniture and emulsified paint to create textures. Key colors are gray-black and white-wash wood. All are combined with black painted iron piped legs.
Right behind the store entrance is a showcase system on wooden blocks and chests, followed by small products on tables. One more step inside is a two-sided shelf system showing products under different themes of tourism, business, etc. At the end of the store stands a cashier counter and a warehouse. The outstanding feature of the whole space is the workshop tables at the wooden house block, where the process of producing a leather good is presented.
