The RHOMBUS shelves or space divider consist of 3 units which can be combined in the shape of a staircase. The three units are made up with the same formal typology. The first unit is composed of 9 squares, the second 5 and the last 1 which can be used as a seat. The shelves can be used in several ways, horizontally or vertically according to the user’s space or needs.
The square form is perceptible when placed in a frontal point of view and turns into a diamond shape in a lateral point of view. The optical illusion invites the subject to stroll about and undergo the optical effect given by the Rhombus shelves. In search of a unique geometry, its sophisticated geometry composed of segments shows an interesting form. Its alternately geometrical design brings out the contrast to emphasize and make more visible its shape.
