KAOS is a young creative brand conceived for young eclectic, modern women, who like to keep up with fashion and trends, without giving up on their femininity. These are the key words which have defined and influenced the new retail concept, KAOS, designed by FABIO CASELLI DESIGN. We transform places through trimmings seen as a modern expression aimed at the creation of emotions. Boiseries were created through the use of Trompe-l’oeil wall paper with elaborate innovative graphics that create no continuity.
According to the artists who created this graphic pattern, “freed from any bonds, the images stray over surfaces expanding their size and their impact, seducing the eye and amplifying every sensation”. Such wall covering, used as a true and proper “skin” detached from the supporting structure, is highlighted through the use of linear led lights placed on the top level, creating an extremely evocative effect.
KAOS is accompanied by contemporary materials, such as black varnished iron for the slim and elegant columns and the 1950’s inspired tables, transparent crystals, white varnished retro glass, and finally the slightly unfinished “warm” wood used for all supporting parts. Careful attention was given to all the furnishings in order to enrich the general mood of the concept store.
Precious fabrics were used, such as velvet, in its more glamorous and modern form: ochre yellow for the vast curtains of the fitting rooms and cobalt blue for the pouf and clearly vintage-inspired seats. Great care was also given to the choice of flooring, which is made of a ceramic cement, with strong industrial connotations which contrast well with the “contemporary romanticism” of the walls. Dynamic creativity and glamour are thus summed up in an exclusive design concept for the KAOS brand which aspires to great success.
