When the Carifermo CEO called us for that project, the first feeling was the difficulty to work in such a place full of architectural elements such as pillars, ceiling and huge stairs and full of different and precious materials (especially the variety of the marble).
For that reason and to appreciate and highlight the given space, we have thought that, we should have thought as a new project, a sort of a project inside a project. The provided surround, is the landscape while our action is the building!
So we decided to do that by mixing cold and warm material both to give transparency and a pleasant view of the overall area and to create a visual connection with the surround, transforming the bank into a domestic and welcoming place.
