Comfortableness is an element easily overlooked in a medical space when the design focuses on children more than necessary. Through this project, the designer provides an aesthetic space not only to young patients but also to their parents and the medical staff.
Under the concept of a ‘forest’, the moderated color plan presents friendliness and reflects the philosophy of oriental medicine. The space is separated and unified by tree-like elements; the playing zone featuring ‘trees’, animal graffiti and chairs lends the warmth of a small garden from a fairy tale.
The influence of the white medicine locker on the wall emphasizes the identity of the pediatrics and brightens up the atmosphere.
