Louis Vuitton‘s pop-up store offensive continues, and a second wave of global openings is dedicated to the brand’s A/W 2019 Women’s Collection by creative director Nicolas Ghesquière. With a flagship store of its own and two shop-in-shops, the luxury behemoth already has a significant presence in Tokyo‘s upscale shopping neighbourhood of Ginza, but chose to boost its profile a little further with an ephemeral retail space at luxury shopping mall Ginza Six. The shop can be found right below the imposing atrium on the venue’s second floor, and features a colour-infused setting around a display of clustered utility pipes and other elements which all reference Centre Pompidou‘s landmark building in Paris. The Louis Vuitton pop-up store carries a range of bags, including items from the highly coveted LV Pop collection, in addition to accessories, small leather goods, and textiles. Mind you, a large number of products on offer here are exclusive to Japan (open through Aug 4).
