Located in Ho Ma Tin, Kowloon area of Hong Kong, Shao is a superfoods café offering organic superfoods. We were commissioned to design the first shop of their new business. Our brief was to create a natural and healthy dinging experience as a backdrop for the innovative botanical cafe that would feel at home.
The focal feature in Shao is the high ceiling, which has remained the skeleton and hung the greenery boxes to make a rhythm and bring the botanical feel. It was highlighted the scale of the space and gave a feeling of spaciousness. The golden circular green pots displayed on the black metal panel wall with the illuminated message. The counter seat with fold up windows at the entrance make an open-air ambience and catch people’s eyes.
