Two spaces, one inside the other. An invisible door that opens onto another door, just as invisible.
An ice-cold mystery of seduction and yearning. For this Pitti 2020 edition, Mackage takes the shape of a double-C cube, with one letter curled up inside the other. The deeper you go, the more the edges blur and fade as the play of light and mirrors break through the space, shifting and evading your grasp. Two LED walls spar in a game of reflections, offering us a background as we try on the items: we’re in the inner heart of Secret Society, a mysterious place shrouded in fog.
An installation of icy sculptures awaits us, inviting our interaction.
