An installation creative collective PARTY created at the world’s leading outdoor sports business trade fair — ISPO Munich 2020 — for I.S.T, Japan’s material company that offers original fiber technologies. The focus was on exploring what can be possible when we interweave physical art with augmented reality experience.
I.S.T’s vision: “to create products that maintain high performance even in harsh environments, through expanding the potential of a single strand of yarn.”
Using 3D data of K2, Mont Blanc, and Hauraki Gulf, we constructed a 3-meter tall art piece depicting these extreme environments with yarn. We combined the physical object with augmented reality to let visitors virtually experience the potential of I.S.T technologies.
