Looking back a hundred years, Dai Mansion was built in the early 1920s. It was once one of the most luxurious buildings in Guiyang, and it was once reduced to ruins amid prosperity. Today, Dai Mansion is a local municipal cultural relics protection unit. After repair, it conjures up the sealed memory of time.
Our vision was to respect cultural context, contact spatial relations according to the specific conditions aiming to stimulate the space potentials of the site and rejuvenate the life vitality of Dai Mansion. On the basis of retaining the original Masonry-timber structure, blue bricks and tiles, arches, colored glass doors and windows, etc., it was built into a brand museum with the theme of WHITE.
