Located in the heart of Hong Kong, in the Soho area, Chueca is an Iberian tapas bar. Named after Madrid’s urban neighbourhood, it was designed by Yuki Yasukagawa from Design East. Cladded in dark navy tiles with brass archways, Chueca’s striking façade is hard to miss. Various shades of marine aqua-blue are carried on into the interior space featured on columns, upholstery and the bar area. Together with natural oak flooring and walnut joinery the space creates a comfortable environment for long weekend brunches and casual dining. The bar design featuring a reflective rippled ceiling, white marble countertop and walls cladding with brass elements creates a special atmosphere for bustling evening drinks, spilling out into the street.
