Jo Mercer, one of Australia’s leading shoe brands, launched its new concept store at Bondi Junction. Designed by Studio Gray-Scale, the interior design studio has encapsulated the client’s brief of showcasing their shoes as heroes in a space with a timeless appeal.
Soft curves are expressed throughout the store design – through the shopfront signage; meticulously designed joinery details; rounded corners of wall panelling; considered arched alcoves and pill shaped mirrors. Solid elements of timber and brass accents provide contrast to the gentle forms while a neutral palette of white and soft beige projects a timelessness to the design.
