KIND STORE – Nürnberg

The newly designed store with over 300 m2 in a prime location in Nuremberg impresses with a combination of partly modern, angular shapes and, in contrast, partly round, organic shapes to appeal to the new target group.
The products are always in the foreground and should be easy for customers to find.
A waiting area and a play corner for children have been integrated to avoid junctions.
Unlike before, the hearing studios on the first floor are set back and placed in the foreground. Here, the work of an acoustician is presented openly. Thanks to soundproof glazing, a quiet retreat zone is nevertheless guaranteed and is available to customers in the sales area in addition to the frontal appearance.
To create additional atmosphere in the consultation area, suspended ceiling sails with an open black ceiling with surrounding power tracks were used for the basic lighting. The light distribution creates a soft and gentle perception of light and makes customers feel at ease.
The opening with an abstract light sculpture to the upper floor serves as both an eye-catcher and an architectural focal point, allowing the two floors to merge into one.
