As Spain‘s top luxury resort where tycoons and royalty reside or fly in a few times a year to frolic in the sun, Marbella has quite a reputation to uphold. Being a household name in these circles, Roman fashion house FENDI has eagerly pitched in with a rather immersive takeover of the plush Puente Romano beach resort, one of the preferred playgrounds of the aforementioned demographics. The FENDI takeover concerns La Plaza, the cozy Spanish town square-like outdoor space which connects a number of the resort’s upscale eateries. So, the Italian fashion house has more or less transformed La Plaza into FENDI Plaza, replete with comfy seating areas marked with its iconic Pequin stripe, reimagined in a summery palette of yellow and beige.
Obviously, there’s also a FENDI pop-up store on the premises of the resort, situated next to the entrance, and featuring a specially designed setting by the brand’s in-house design team in Rome. Indeed, the Pequin stripe can be found here as well, captured by wall sections, sofas, displays and even planters. Additional furnishings include a timber sales counter, tiered shelving units, wall-suspended shelving and display units, and some pieces reference the Roman arches which can be found in Rome, the brand’s home base. So, what can be found the shelves? The FENDI pop-up store stocks key pieces from the Summer 2024 Collection, as well as a range its iconic pieces, such as the highly sought-after Peekaboo and Baguette bags. © superfuture
