AMIRI continues its global retail expansion with a menswear shop-in-shop at Matsuzakaya, one of Nagoya‘s leading department stores. Situated on the third floor, rubbing shoulders with the retail spaces of Givenchy, Rick Owens, Alexandre de Paris, Astier de Villatte and Alexander Wang, the store features an interior design by creative director Mike Amiri himself, and is an extrapolation of sorts of the AMIRI flagship store in Los Angeles. Emblematic of California aesthetics, the space sees travertine-finished flooring, paired with walls are finished in textured plaster and white oak. Various bespoke furnishings dot the premises, featuring the iconic hand-woven checkered rugs and velvet fabrics, while the shelves and side tables are embellished with colourful onyx. The new AMIRI men’s shop-in-shop carries a curated selection of apparel, accessories, shoes and bags. © superfuture
