Leading restaurant and bar design firm FINCH has unveiled a new visual identity for Jones Social by Jones The Grocer, located at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in Business Bay. The project represents a bold new era for the Jones Social brand and marks FINCH’s 19th collaboration with the group.
Speaking on the project, Emma Stinson, Creative Director and Co-Founder of FINCH, described the concept not as a reinvention, but as a whole new chapter:
“‘We worked alongside the Jones the Grocer team to craft a concept that stands tall on its own, a design statement that belongs to Jones Social, reflecting its unique menu, its sumptuous bar and nighttime ambiance, the keyword that kept coming up in the brainstorming was “vibes” and that’s something this space has in abundance.”
A Venue Built Around Social Energy
The site naturally divides into three interconnected zones, unified by a narrative of art, light, and social connection. Guests are welcomed into a relaxed dining area perfect for intimate meals, drawn into the central bespoke bar, which acts as the pulse of the venue, and guided to the social zone, an energetic space where DJs and late-night gatherings bring the concept to life.
Bespoke Details Define the Space
From the outset, FINCH sought to give this space a whole new persona and leant into a curated list of bespoke design elements, with the artwork and lighting placing high on the agenda. Jen Stelco was commissioned to hand-paint original artworks directly onto the wall
