Forward Japanese fashion brand kolor has had a presence at Shinsaibashi PARCO in Osaka since the latter’s opening in 2020. Aligned with the department store’s major revamp, the brand’s shop-in-shop has relocated to the second floor, featuring a new interior design by DAIKEI MILLS, an acclaimed architecture and interior design practice based in Tokyo. Although clean and understated, the shop-in-shop setting embeds contrasting fixtures and hanging racks by renowned South Korean product designer Kwangho Lee. These handcrafted elements, marked by organic shapes and oozing a certain warmth, add an interesting visual layer, juxtaposing tension and softness. This concept, reinterpreting existing materials to transform them into new value, very much resonates with kolor’s brand values. The new kolor shop-in-shop stocks a selection of men’s and women’s apparel pieces , in addition to an exclusive early release of select pieces from the A/W2026 collection, alongside a series of limited-edition items. © superfuture
