A few steps from the Colosseum, CAFFE’ PROPAGANDA is a bistro dedicated to the highest quality gastronomy. In an ancient and fascinating building Caffe’ Propaganda is 280 square meters, with 5 meter high vaulted ceilings supported by ancient columns; four large windows overlook Via Claudia. The architectural project is designed as a Parisian bistro of the last century, with spaces that are a synthesis of the French literary salons and cafes on the Seine: a long oak and zinc bar counter, made by a french artisan, and the dining room with leather sofas and tables. Vaulted ceilings and white tiles on the walls produced by Etruria Design, the factory that has revived the ancient diamond tile that, at the beginning of ‘900,covered the stations of the Paris Metro. The ancient chandeliers glass drops come from an old hotel in the south of France. Chairs and stools are Chaises Nicolle.
