Modern, premium, high standard furniture – Samsung is a high-end store for electronical devices and has high demands concerning shop equipment and design. Due to that fact Umdasch Shopfitting can be proud to be a confident shopfitting partner of Samsung. Umdasch France and the retail design agency Cheil were in contact for more than 1,5 years now. They met at the Bercy Concert Hall in Paris to discover the new project Samsung. After some talks Cheil decided to choose Umdasch Shopfitting for developing the shop equipment.

To create a perfect final project two teams were built visiting, talking to architects and doing exact measurements of the place including ground, walls and the ceiling. We worked with a freelance partner to build up a concept that dedicated to the new products Gear S2. The concept target was to create an environment fitting to the products and its DNA of Samsung: circular forms, high premium manufactory and technology.

A highlight of the store is, of course, the digital equipment: there are lots of electrical appliances, screens, tablets, phones, watches, etc. Many electricians were hired to fix them perfectly. A store was created fitting perfectly to the Corporate Design and to the values of Samsung.

Thus the store concept was really exciting; there were some challenges, too: We had to spend time working on the best solution in order to respect both, a perfect circulation in the store and the French regulations. Furthermore there were a few difficulties due to the working access of the concert hall, because there were concerts, tennis events and many more. But because of the reliable performance of Umdasch Shopfitting we finally delivered a total premium store with high standard furniture, ground and lights in a total processing time of one month.
