Giacomo Ravagli at his second design collection, signs for Nilufar Unlimited Collection the Tunisia chandelier made in expanded copper mesh and steel 3 elegant and unparalleled chandeliers in one, or one for many, Tunisia is a constellation of light – also floor and table based – to be distributed with no boundaries in domestic interiors and for contract projects, to be mixed and expanded in the years.

Tunisia, the most versatile and modular design at Nilufar Unlimited, is 100% designed, made and manufactured in Italy A new must for the living spaces: from hotels to retail to new architectures dedicated to food tasting and wellness.

Sectional, modular and expandable in the time, Tunisia signed by the Tuscan designer Giacomo Ravagli at his second design collection, is a brand new chandelier that is uncommon and innovative, part of new projects that Nilufar Gallery (Milan) will present at Milano Design Week 2012 under the new catalogue Nilufar Unlimited. An over-turned cone, Tunisia is made of three octagonal unities, each of these able to be installed not only in sequence with the others but also standing alone and transformed in a smaller chandelier.

Tunisia is the only chandelier in the world that can be expanded in its long-life – if or when a change of domestic needs can require it – by adding further sections (in any sense: upon or under) to the standard configuration of three elements that is 1 meter and half high.

Tunisia can be also transformed in table or floor lamp by using the same chandelier module and a complementary steel tube holder (upon, down each module) by following the changes in lighting needs. Or, by starting from the standard configuration in three modules, it can be separated to go in new spaces – as it happens when relocating – by transforming itself in three pendants that can also make light for more rooms.
