In restaurants, hotels and hospitality spaces, lighting plays a key role in defining the atmosphere and identity of an interior. With Nuvem, the modular system designed by Miguel Arruda, Slamp creates bespoke lighting solutions that adapt to the architecture and needs of each project.

Beyond its functional purpose, light shapes the perception of a space, highlights materials and creates intimate or convivial settings. In hospitality, it becomes an integral part of the guest experience and the overall design.

Founded in Pomezia, Italy, in 1994, Slamp develops distinctive, lightweight and elegant lamps designed to transform interiors through light. Nuvem takes this vision further, combining decorative lighting with architectural flexibility.

Its hexagonal modules connect and expand in every direction, creating unique configurations tailored to each environment. Thanks to its “push and pull” system, the cables can be adjusted even after installation, reshaping the suspended structure into a floating ceiling that can appear more compact or extended.

The system also features suspended spotlights with bidirectional light emission, positioned above or below the decorative structure.

Featured in hospitality projects, Nuvem demonstrates its versatility through compositions that interact with materials such as stone, wood, metal and mirrors. Its modularity enables bespoke configurations that use light to define the identity of each space.
