Bangkok is known as the city of Angels (Krung Thep in Thai), the most stylish of which can be seen flying inside ‘Vela De’. The aim of this project was to introduce us to the collections of famous Thai designer Panlert Chumsri who established his brand in 2000 and already counts more that 25 years in the fashion industry.

The 200 sq.m. boutique which relocated from the Silom area to Thonglor in September 2011, is the latest project from Bangkok based design group all(zone) which consists of the creative minds of Rachaporn Choochuey, Sorawit Klaimark, Wittida Pyomyong, Tharit Thossanatada and Jarupa Tachasirinugune.

‘Vela De’ is located in the stylish Thonglor neighborhood in Bangkok (916/24 Sukhumvit 55) and seizes the attention not only of passersby, but also anyone driving past due to the floating handmade dresses that hang from its ceiling. The recipe for its interior success is due to the combination of materials that are used, including glass, reflective metal, mirrors and floating fashion all merged in this urban and unexpected site!
