For the offices at the 6th floor of ING Bank Romania we chose De Stijl as an inspiration because of its dutch origin and for its both playfulness and austerity. We built replicas of the blue chair by altering the seat height and the backrest reclining so they fit our purpose as meeting chairs. The corridors feature copies of Mondrian’s paintings, in the original sizes and technique. The display and lighting recalls an art gallery.
