The “grafik:plastic” glasses brand opens up a new approach concerning user experience and client interaction. Created as part of a promotion campaign, the packaging design systematically integrates clients into itself. Profile photos of prospective customers are used and applied to paper holders that fit right into the semi-translucent plastic case when folded. This not only evokes the impression that this person is wearing these glasses, but simultaneously also demonstrates to each new customer how glasses effectively change a face.

Customers are thus invited to become part of the collection of hundreds of faces that make up the campaign already. Other components in the package are paper bags that also feature faces, cases for the exchangeable temples that can be used with the glasses frames and a white cleaner fabric that reads “I can see clearly now”. The backside of the profile photographs features a user manual written in four languages, the company history, quality claim and the hint that the glasses case can also be used for other purposes such as a pen case or for jewelry.
