celio* windows by Clément Delbes at Champs Elysees flagship store, for the “On the Road” thematic. The most surprising piece is an original Chevrolet Apache 1959 pick up truck found in Texas. It was cut in half and used as a connection between the windows and the in-store merchandising. Its rear occupied the main window whereas the back was used at the entrance of the store to hold the products, sharing this experience with the consumer as well, since they could actually touch the real truck while browsing for products.
The props were found in the famous “Puces de Saint-ouen” flea-market, close to paris. Old clocks, vintage travel cases, signboard letters. Sixteen people have worked for more than 80 hours to put together these windows puppeteers, electricians, mechanics, painters, carpenters and lock smiths.
