From Gauthier Poulain, a pendant light with three metal parts held together with magnets. Lighting is provided by a warm white LED-band. Flat pieces of rounded metal appear to peel off of the lamp. The effect creates a plethora of movement using this simple structure in its solid, unwaivering state as if it were an adhesive being stripped of its thin protective layer. Poulain says he connected the separate metal parts with strong magnets and uses a warm white LED-band to light up the “wings” from the inside out. With a soft glow and a rounded look, the light becomes both modern and elegant in its incomplete state.
