Mobile money leaders Monitise have recently moved into a new London headquarters office outfitted by Morgan Lovell. At 45,000 sqft the office gives the company space to work with its global client roster. The office’s style was fashioned after that of a boutique hotel and uses fabrics, furniture, carpeting, and colors throughout to acheive the look. This is seen best through the sleek lobby space and and various meeting spaces. A central atrium gives the office’s multi-level floorplate unity as well as natural lighting in those hard to reach places.

By using an open plan layout, employees can more quickly collaborate and work as a team. If need be, they can drop into a smaller, more private meetings space nearby. These spaces include breakout zones, traditional meeting rooms, and more concentrative pod spaces. Several high-backed sofas give additional style and privacy. And to enhance collaborative abilities, whiteboard walls have been implemented throughout the office.

One space, dubbed the ‘innovation room’ is meant to facilitate short, to-the-point meetings by using whiteboards and stand-up only tables. The also company uses teleconferencing to stay connected to their other offices throughout the world.
