El Caliente bar by SWeet Co, Tokyo

August 2nd, 2013 by retail design blog

El Caliente consists of three main areas: The Bar, The Lounge, and The Terrace. Each section carries a unique Retro/Modern motif creating the ambiance of a modern South American Resort. The open partition facing the shared passage way allows for the liveliness of the customers to dissipate out into the street, inviting all who pass by to enter. The lighting and decor offer a feeling of renewed familiarity, while the wood/tin ceiling and the grained walls is where classic New York style meets modern Mexican distinction.

Disconnected from the hustle and bustle of big city life, guests escape via the inner terrace overlooking the shared corridor accented by a long communal table and counterbalanced by the presence of cool flowing water. El Caliente is an attractive space that is home to a convergence of distinguished styles, tastes, and cultures aiming to bring New York attitude with Mexican hospitality.
