HAIR SALONS! knothair hair salon by ninkipen!, Kyoto – Japan

March 15th, 2014 by retail design blog

This is an interior design for a hair salon in Kyoto, Japan. I paid attention to activities to move from seat to seat for haircut, shampoo, perm. If space is divided by doors according to required function, an independent interior is born just as the number of rooms, and scenery doesn’t move. Therefore I will design one hybrid scenery by connecting the interiors while opening some parts of rooms and showing hints, and I try to give the motion to scenery.
