W Hotel is located in one of the most special places in Istanbul which is Akaretler. We first designed W Hotel Istanbul back in 2006 and we got inspired from the Ottoman culture and we wanted to continue that while renovating it. Every single detail we used is a modern interpretation of the Ottoman culture. That is how we made W Hotel Istanbul keep its unique concept. We added few surprises while renovating such as the Jewelry Box. We created a tunnel at the entrance which is like a jewelry box so that every guest who walks through it can feel protected and valued just like a jewelry. Lighting is everything in interior design and we made a collaboration with Thierry Dreyfuss for the lighting of the tunnel. He created a miracle with his installation. This tunnel of W, it is like the new mascot of the hotel.
