Space Age Fuel Store by King Retail Solutions, Hermiston – Oregon

August 20th, 2015 by retail design blog

Space Age Fuel operates 20 convenience store locations in the Pacific Northwest. This flagship location is the brand’s only full-on travel center. A goal of this project was to create a store plan and layout that works well, and sees to the needs of, both professional truck drivers and residential/non-commercial travelers.

Space Age Fuel is welcoming and inviting to all, quick and intuitive to shop, and takes each customer through their path-to-purchase in an energized environment that feels good to experience, maximizes the floor space, and via a design that can be rolled out consistently to all Space Age Fuel locations. These objectives were successfully achieved through the refresh of Space Age Fuel’s branding (creating a stand-out identity which will distinguish Space Age Fuel from all other truck stops and travel centers) and the extension of that brand refresh into the store space via this beautiful reimaging of colors, finishes, lighting, cabinetry, fixtures, graphics, and signage. Space Age Fuel plans to extend this modern store design to its other convenience locations.
