sfd rebranding

The new identity unites each pillar under the sfd brand as well as allowing its respective team to more effectively present their area of expertise and to develop their portfolio. After a bit of renaming, we’re proud to present the design team as +Studio, the mannequin team as Nude and the store development team as +Build.

TDDA collaborated with Diego Leyva, Creative Director of Nhomada to develop the graphic design, we worked through a multidisciplinary process in order to integrate the industrial design and typography with the architecture. The result transforms the standard sushi bar, and integrates a new concept of rice bowl.

In the lobby we played with iconic objects from those years: a Seat 600 – the first mass produced Spanish car – a huge Peseta – Spanish old currency – used as a table and a panel with very big magnetic key-rings, as used back then in the local hostels.
