Deconstructing these objects, and remixing them within a colour palette reminiscent of the hot, metallic world of machines (and BBQ), allowed the graphics to ‘ramp up’ as you move from one area of the restaurant to the other, enhancing the shift between moods of the space.

Black Light by Diana Dumitrescu

I’m using both black tinted incandescent bulbs and black light bulbs that can be used for different moods. The black tinted incandescent bulb emits a natural ambient light. The black light bulb emits an ultraviolet radiation which is invisible to the human eye. By having the shape around the bulb fluorescent, the observable light will be the actual glow of the structure.

Trend Platter store by Design Systems, Shanghai

This is a project for a trendy Japanese fashion brand’s chain store in Shanghai. By the juxtaposition of different decoration styles, the design embodies the brand’s characteristics of “variety” and “mix-and-match”, at the same time creates a visual journey for the shoppers.

Possi ice-cream parlour by Antonio Gardoni, Brescia – Italy

Possi ice-cream makers is a family run business on the market for the past 40 years catering fresh and delicious ice-creams produced in a artisanal and organic way. The Possi ice-cream never really changed trying to follow trends, it’s still served in generous portions using old style tumblers and adding classic decorations like paper umbrellas and coloured straws.

Mood Swings Apartment Store, Moscow

This unusual interior was created for Mood Swings Apartment Store in Moscow with the help of Fredrick Nilsby and Cyril Duva. The concept was inspired by Alice in Wonderland. There are four spaces divided by different types of wishes a fashion-savvy woman would look for: Simple, Classic, Funny and Avantgarde. These symbols of a woman’s moods embrace the costumers from the minute they walk in.

Work Lamp by Form Us With Love

Interactive installation of 91 linked 24 carat gold covered Work Lamps creating a massive Light Jockey instrument. The installation was uncovered June 18 at Design House Stockholm’s opening of their OPEN concept in Boda, Sweden.
